Yes. Surely you know someone who has gone to the United Kingdom and has improved incredibly after a period of listening and practicing English, without going through any classes. We offer the same, but without a plane ticket, without customs, and without having to pay rent abroad.

My Everyday Repertoire Currently has English and Spanish listening program. But we are currently working on the audio files for other languages with our Linguists.
-
Because the classes, the books and the exercises are ways of studying a language, which will allow you to understand the grammar and its structure, but that has nothing to do with using that language. What matters in the acquisition of another language is being able to communicate in it: understand it and speak it. That is what we propose to you at My Everyday repertoire. That you focus on what matters: understanding our audio texts and conversation. Little by little you will notice improvements in all language skills, with much less effort.

Grammar is useful for those who have just started learning English and for those who already know it and want to understand the language in an advanced way. Most of us are in the intermediate levels and there the only thing that serves to understand and speak better is to listen, understand and practice. Studying, as a broad concept (which encompasses learning grammar, doing exercises, memorizing words, etc.), is a formula that can be very useful for improving command of a language at a later stage, but it is not the ideal formula for learning to communicate.
-
Definitely not. That is why there are so many people with problems understanding and speaking English. If you don't train listening, understanding and speaking, you will never get past the intermediate level, because the language is a practical knowledge and much of it is acquired at a subconscious level, listening and understanding.
-
Of course. We have thousands of audios at your disposal, but we also have content designed to help you understand grammar without having to study it.
-
Our brain is prepared for it. To give an example: imagine the discoverers of America trying to communicate with the natives. Neither spoke the other's language, but they ended up learning it. First, the mimicry allowed them to understand some words, then, with the vocabulary they knew, they deduced some structures of the language. The more exposure to the other's language, the more words they could deduce and the more fluid the communication could be.
-
Of course. Stephen Krashen, a linguist at the University of Southern California, has already done extensive research on the acquisition of English as a second language. There are many publications available on the subject:

-
Because to train and improve, the content has to be somewhat above your level, but not too much, so that everything you already know helps you understand what you don't yet understand. Our algorithm selects the audios and videos that are best for you to learn English without stress. Series and movies are not made to learn English and sometimes they can be too complex. In any case, be sure to watch them, it all adds up and helps improve your understanding of the language.
-
Because the daily use of a language is more like physical than mental learning.
It is like riding a bicycle.
Can't study.
You need to train: train your ear.
-
It depends on the previous level acquired before training in My Everyday Repertoire and your daily training rhythm. No method is miraculous and if your level is low, it will take longer to acquire the language. In general, the improvements start to be obvious in the first month. But after 6 months / 1 year, you will have significantly improved your level after having acquired new structures and greater fluidity.
-
Easier than other methods! Imagine a text of 200 words of which you do not understand 10 or 12. In the vast majority of these words that you do not know, you will deduce them from the context, with which you will remember them much better than learning them isolated.
-
The important thing is that you understand a high percentage of each text/audio, if a specific word escapes you, nothing happens. Anyway, in My Everyday Repertoire you have the synchronized transcription of each audio, so you can read what you're listening to in English or Spanish. As you hear and read words in their actual context, you will gain their meaning.
-
There is no age limit. It is true that children have a more plastic mind than adults, but that does not mean that there is an age from which it is impossible to learn English. He thinks that, in reality, adults learn earlier because they can take advantage of what they already know of their language and that, furthermore, the structure of English is relatively similar (and simpler) than that of Spanish.
